For iTunes / iPod the tcmp tag / flag marks a song as "part of a compilation".

It´s not a valid id3 tag but may be for iPod users a good idea to handle albums with various artists.

Since I won´t let iTunes put a hand on my songs, I´d like to handle this problem with the great Mp3 Tag Studio.

Any chance...?

If you tell me where I can find more info about this tag I can at least check it out, can't promise anything though. Thanks for the tip.

I've added my vote for support of the TCMP tag in another thread.

In terms of detail, I'm not sure what you are after Magnus, but does this help?
