The system is set to 'synch on boot' option. Unfortunately the system which is booting fails to synch with an 'cannot access .... bookmark file (or similar) error. If I start the whole process manually immediately after the initial failure, everything works fine. My assumption: some other prcesses, like my firewall,booting up as well, block early network traffic. Is there any way i.e. to delay the operation of BC ? or else ? Posted by: Magnus Brading on Aug. 25 2006,16:06 The execution of the sync is done with a normal command-line, so any third-party trick/util that can issue delayed command-line commands should do. Don't have any examples of such a thing off the top of my head though, sorry. end |
