Under File/Settings/Bookmark processing settings, I uncheck any, any pair of, or all boxes, then exit. When I go back to this window, the boxes are checked again. Is there a way to make them go away? Posted by: Magnus Brading on Jan. 12 2003,13:03 I just tried it, and it works fine here. ![]() Are you pressing the "ok" button after making these changes? Have you installed Bookmark Converter to a directory to which you have write access (so that the changes can be correctly stored in the datafile)? Posted by: BillH on Jan. 14 2003,00:47 There was no "OK" or any other box on my setup: Nvidia gf2 ti, 64 mb; 19" Optiquest monitor; windows 2k, Display Properties/Settings set to anything from 800x600 to 1280x1024 with LARGE FONTS selected. I Installed BMC 3.0 b7 on a Matrox Millenium 2 mb, MGC 15" monitor; windows 2k, Display Properties/Settings on either 800x600 to 1024x768 with LARGE FONTS selected & saw the same as above. Changed to small fonts on the Millenium box & lo & behold there are Help, OK and Cancel boxes along the bottom of the BMC File/Settings window, & the check boxes work OK. Taking another look at the LARGE FONTS display, it is readily apparent the the bottom and right-hand 1/4 of the BMC File/Settings box is cut off when my Desktop Properties/Settings is LARGE FONTS. (The main BMC window is the same using either LARGE FONTS or small fonts). Hope you can fix this - it's a pain to have to change the desktop font size everytime I want to check or uncheck these boxes. Thanks. Edit: After inititially posting this, I set Desktop Properties/Settings fonts to small on the Nvidia box, & after rebooting, the BMC File/Settings window is complete on this box also, i.e. the Help-OK-Cancel boxes at the bottom are displayed. Posted by: Magnus Brading on Jan. 14 2003,19:07 Yes, that's what I suspected. ![]() That "Large fonts" feature always messed up things. A good general advice from me personally would be to turn it off for good. I cannot promise any fix for this, due to the bad things this operating system feature does to Delphi-programs (very hard to fix). ![]() Posted by: BillH on Jan. 14 2003,22:23 I understand. It's not really that big of a big problem. I mainly wanted to get the two bottom boxes unchecked for an uninterrupted sync at boot. I probably won't ever want to re-check them. Thanks for a really useful utility. end |
