I just downloaded this product and ran a repair on all my Mp3's as suggested on the Roxio forum so Roxio Audiocentral could import the files. All my Mp3's now have a poping noise throughout the whole song.....very irritating. How can this be fixed? It does not matter what program I play them in...Roxio Audiocenter, Realone...it does the same thing. Please, Please help!!!

OK, I have been doing some reading and playing around with the program a little. What I did was a mass repair of all my mp3's, like around 1,000. I did the simple repair. I did this since Roxio Audiocenter was not importing the files. Fortuanately, I used the backup option. I tried deleting the file and then renaming the backup file as suggested in the help files and that worked, the files plays normally now, although I have not tried it in Roxio Audiocenter yet. Now I have 1,000 files that I need to delete and rename the backup files. Is there a faster automated process for this other than doing 1 at a time?

Sure, just use the "Direct rename files" tool of Mp3/Tag Studio, and your thousand files will all be correctly renamed in a couple of seconds.

Thanks, how about a way to mass delete all the bad files first? Reason I ask is because all the bad files are mixed in with the backup files.

All the backup files will have the extension ".bak", and all the processed files will have the extension ".mp3". Hence, you could e.g. move all the files with extension ".mp3" (i.e. the bad files) to another folder with the "Direct rename files" tool, and then rename the remaining ".bak"-files to their original names with the "Direct rename files" tool. You can then also delete the folder with the bad mp3:s, or do whatever you like with them.
