-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Suggestions +---Topic: Capitalization tables for non-English. started by calberga Posted by: calberga on Mar. 05 2009,00:07 This is really a two part question/suggestion. The the question: can one save and load rule tables for capitalization? The suggestion: that such saved rules be made available for languages other than English, such as Spanish, Italian, German, etc. Posted by: calberga on Mar. 05 2009,00:09 I see that the table can be saves as a "pre-set", but not whether it can be sent from one machine to another. Posted by: Magnus Brading on Mar. 05 2009,11:52 Yes, as you say, it can be saved as a preset, and this in turn will result in a file that can easily be copied to any other installation of Mp3/Tag Studio (you will find them in the "CasefixPresets" sub folder of the Mp3/Tag Studio installation folder of your computer, and all you need to do to move it to another computer is to copy the file to this folder on that computer too). If you (or any one else) create such files (of high quality) for other languages, I can include them in the official download, no problem. Posted by: calberga on Mar. 05 2009,20:39 Thank you for telling me where the file is sequestered. I fear that I'm a funtional monoglot (excluding computer languages), and thus I can construct the tables. I would like to have them when dealing with non-English works. To me, the most useful would be German, French (which doesn't seem to capitalize in titles anyway), Spanish, Italian. After that things like Dutch, Flemish, Breton, Welsh, Gaelic, Asturian, Gallician, Catalunian (sp?), and on into the Eastern Lands. When (if?) UNICODE support appears I'll worry about the more complex languages. I don't want much do I! OH! and I forgot the Nordic languages plus Finnish and Sami! end |
