-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Suggestions +---Topic: I can't find a way to do this...double up tags.... started by mark Posted by: mark on Feb. 01 2003,08:06 I have mp3 with standard title author - album - title - track - year.mp3 I use a mp3 player and to aid searching on the lcd, I want to double up some in the tags, for example title tag...artist - title album tag...artist - album rest of tags as normal. Musicmatch can do this. Can mp3 tag studio? I know most people probably don't care about something small like this, but if possible could somebody please teach me. Thanks, Mark Posted by: mark on Feb. 01 2003,16:09 I figured out how to do this. I used the mass tag function and the prepend button. Worked great! Good software. If there is a way to do this is one step, please let me know, but I am not so bothered because I most likely will change the artist anyway to something shorter for this step so it takes up less space on NJB3 small lcd screen, and would have to do two steps anyway. Bye Posted by: Disposable Hero on Feb. 02 2003,20:40 If I understand correctly, (data from 2 tags into 1 tag) you should be able to do this from the "Direct tag manipulation" tab, and save one or more preset styles: Starting with "Full tag casefix" in the "General Settings" dropdown... Check the "Advanced Mode" checkbox Type what you want into the left column boxes, like so: <Artist> - <Title> -----> <Title> and so forth. Note that I didn't test this, so please reply whether it worked or didn't work. Thanks.
