Mp3/Tag Studio is the ONLY program I've been able to find that can handle tagging from a list that actually works perfectly!!! I absolutely love it!!!

I'm just wondering though, if there is any planned version (or other program out there) which will do the same for WAV or BWAV files' tags. I need to fix the headers on over 40,000 WAV, BWAV and MP3 files containing sound effects. Mp3/Tag Studio will get me there for the MP3 files I have but I'm stuck with the WAV and Broadcast WAV files which are without headers. Any ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,
Kevin

Currently, support for additional music file formats is not planned, due to the implementation effort being too big to be justifiable, since the popularity of other formats than mp3 is tiny in comparison, sorry.  :ashamed:

Just in passing, WAV files do NOT support tags.  No program can do anything for this.

But if you are looking for a great tagging utility program that handles file formats which DO support tags other than MP3, check out MP3TAG.  It supports FLAC, APE, MP3, imbedded art inside the ID3v2 tags, etc.

I like MP3-Tag/Studio for MP3.  But for other formats and imbedded album art, I use MP3TAG.

Does that (MP3TAG) support IPTC and COMMENT tags on .jpg files?  I desperately need something as neat as mp3/tag Studio to do tagging on a thousands of scans.  Magnus, if you want a popular file format that has tags you won't beat .jpg!

No.  MP3TAG only works on various music file formats.

I personally only use MP3 and FLAC for my music files, and use MP3TAG for the FLAC files.  I use MP3-Tag/Studio for the MP3 files.

But MP3TAG supports tag formats ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes MP4, WMA, Vorbis Comments (FLAC) and APE.

No JPG tag support.
