I just discovered MP3/TS and wow! I'm a big fan of interfaces that mean business rather than being watered down so that they are trivial to learn, but run out of gas rather quickly.

I've walked through the various tabs, dialogs, and postings in these forums, but while it's probably staring me in the face, I don't see how to handle album art. Can MP3/TS handle album art, or does the non-textual nature of images conflict with all the neat transformations this thing will do?

I'm glad you like it. :) And if you like the interface so far, have you taken a look at the macro functionality yet? If not, I can really recommend it... :)

About the cover art, your theory is quite accurate. Since not many mass processing operations would be able to make use of cover art support (except for the mass clean tool, which already supports it) I have not put much effort into it. The browse tool could of course make use of it, but it is a comparatively big effort to implement a special interface just for images in this tool, so I haven't done it yet. But sure, it's on the list, just not in the high priority part of it. ;)

Actually, I think it would fit in with mass set tags, tag from list (image path in the list), and browse edit, but I agree, it's probably low prio, since you can easily attach album art to a directory of mp3s with any editor.

However, probably the best reason to consider this is so that there would be no need for another editor -- that MP3/TS would be the one tool that does it all (which it's pretty close to being right now  :) )

Here here!

Consider this another user's vote to add album art.

I've tagged my thousands of mp3s with mp3 Tag Studio.  Then one day I got an ipod and realized I'd have to tag everything again with another tool to add album art.

If MP3TS did it all, that would really be great.

Ok, ok, I'll put it up one notch on the prio list then. :)

...and I'd just like to say that I second the motion! If art handling were included, MP3TS would be the ONLY tool required.
Magnus, you know where I stand... it's a great app already, but this would be the icing on the cake. :)
