I wish it were 'embedded' under the regular ID3 info area. Since the regular info area is vertically centered, leaving the window open means that something else in the interface is usually obscured. Posted by: Magnus Brading on Aug. 08 2002,15:37 This is because the program is made to be operable in 800*600 screen resolution, and you can't possible fit all that info into the main window then. Also, many people will use this info very seldomly, and then it is good that it is hidden, to not confuse them unnecessarily. But I agree, if there would have been enough room in the main window in 800*600, I would have put it there. Posted by: Fairplayers on Aug. 09 2002,12:37 Hello Magnus. Great Program. About this Advanced ID3v2 info I would like it in the mass set window too so I can set info to all songs at the same time, hit the execute button and have all tracks filled in. All fields except composer seem to have the same info in all songs on a cd. As it is right now I have to type same thing in over and over again in all tracks. Maybe this is why this topic is seldom used. ![]() Posted by: Magnus Brading on Aug. 09 2002,13:47 Ever tried to click that "More..." checkbox in the mass set tool? ![]() It does exactly that, bringing up a window where you can set any ID3v2 fields (assuming you are using Mp3/Tag Studio 3.0). Posted by: EddyGeez on Aug. 14 2002,15:07 I agree that the "ID3v2 tag info" input fields should be pinned to the top of the "Browse/Edit tags & flags" tab and not centered top-to-bottom. I run in 1600x1200, and I would have plenty of room to "dock" the Advanced ID3v2 Info floater under the normal input fields if it were pinned to the top of the region. It would be nice if there was a user-settable option called "Use large screen layout (> 800x600)" (or better yet, make it auto-detect the resolution and/or the size of the window that the user has resized Mp3/TS to) that would make the program utilize available screen real estate better. (Such as automatically displaying the Advanced ID3v2 Info fields/details under the "typical" fields if space permitted).
