I'm puzzled by how to add new patterns for renaming directly from the shell extension.  I looked in the help and within the extended settings, but I can't see where to do this....

I want to add Re-tag based on this filename pattern:

<track> - <artist> - <title>

This should be very easy to do I'm guessing.. but I'm missing something obvious!

I just figured out my own question :)

Solution:

1. In the main program window, click on "Auto tag (from filenames)" tab.
2. In "Expected filename format" area of the tab, create the pattern you want. In my case, i enalbed "TrackNr" then ordered it using the Up/Down arrows to be <TrackNr> - <Artist> - <Title>.
3.  Last thing you have to do is click the "+" sign next to the "Expected Filename Format" dropdown.  This saves your changes.

Now if you go to file explorer, you'll see your new pattern available through the shell extension...

yikes, this was NOT obvious.
